Leadership 3.0
High Performing leaders for the new world of work
High Performing leaders for the new world of work
Faced with changing technological, social and demographic trends, true globalisation with the rise of China and India, environmental concerns and the economic downturn, there is little doubt that leaders in the coming decade face change and challenges. Yet change also brings opportunity to rethink traditional ways of doing things and to consider what the new world of work, and how leaders lead in it, will look like.
The Leadership 3.0 approach looks at leadership in the round, playing to individuals strengths and importantly in the context of today’s world, with its every increasing complexity, change and its diverse range of generational preferences and values.
In this module we use various exercises and diagnostic tools to elicit people’s values and beliefs. We show the strong connection between beliefs and values and leadership capability.
In this module we use personality profiling, individual preference assessments and a combination of exercises and coaching.
The goal is to help leaders to play to their strengths, or natural preferences. Uniquely, we help leaders understand their generational preferences and the impact these have when working with others.
Health and wellbeing are important factors in executive performance and resilience. In this module we address, in very practical ways, health, stress and nutrition and we show the clear link between wellbeing and performance.
We help leaders to understand how to manage their own state in order to help them to achieve the results they want as well as to increase their core resilience.
Core to an executive’s ability to create a high performance culture is the way they relate to other people and their ability to harness individuals and networks. Key to this skill is emotional intelligence.
We tackle these issues using diagnostics, workshops and coaching conversations to build up a picture and to identify areas that would strengthen a leader’s performance.
We use a range of diagnostic tools including 360 tools, business simulations and work shadowing to build a detailed profile of a leader’s strengths.
These behaviours manifest themselves in different forms and we are expert in coaching leaders to develop these in today’s marketplace.
We have developed tools to measure the ‘appropriateness’ of a leader’s management approach in the changing context of wider generational preference and diversity.
Our workshops give managers ideas and practical management approaches that work with all generations.
Every industry has its own understanding of WHAT needs to be developed for a particular role. We help with the HOW by helping you to create appropriate technical learning environments.
Our deep understanding of learning preferences of all generations, but particularly of Generation Y, mean that we can accelerate the learning of technical skills too.
We also consult on formal, informal and ‘shadow’ knowledge sharing networks that exist within organisations and how to make them truly effective.
