That’s how it is...

Our talentsmoothie ‘Tell It How It Is’ research is due to be released at the end of February. With more than 3100 respondents it is the largest study of Gen Y attitudes to work and employment. The findings are fascinating and essential insight for those who want to know how to attract and retain this generation.

How Gen Y- friendly is your organisation?

We have been conducting a number of reviews for clients recently, looking at how their Gen Y-friendly their organisations are. We use our talentsmoothie Future Fit diagnostic to carry out the review. The goal is to pinpoint the areas they can either enhance or change to improve retention, attraction and engagement of their young employees.

"We found the whole Gen Y issue very confusing and were not sure what to do. talentsmoothie’s Gen Y audit simplified things for us and made it clear what actions we needed to take."

Current Projects

Our current projects include a graduate mentoring programme for a big financial services organisation, a Gen-Y friendly audit based around our futurefit diagnostic for a professional services firm, a consultancy project helping a professional services firm to market effectively to their Gen Y clients and several ‘Understanding Gen Y seminars’ for a number of private and public sector clients and business schools.

talentsmoothie partner with Hobsons

We are working with Hobsons, the student publications company to reach out to graduates with our research. We have had a fantastic response, with many of them commenting that doing the survey was like being ‘coached online’ as it made them think about many issues that they had not previously considered.
